I established Photography by Michael J, in 1984 in Lombard IL, and relocated to West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle in 1999.
If your photographic needs are Still Photography or videography, we can provide you with the quality service you deserve. Stills photography is shot in digital SLR format, Using a Nikon D70; Video is shot in either the standard 4:3 aspect ratio; or if you prefer 16:9 aspect ratio for that dramatic theatrical effect. For video, we utilize Hi-8 and/or Mini-DV video equipment. Video output is available in both Standard video tape or DVD. All Editing and enhancements are done using a high end media processing computer system and advanced editing software to perform quality sequencing or editing.
We provide professional, friendly discrete, in home service, delivering high quality products at an affordable price. We perform both indoor and outdoor sessions, utilizing the natural beauty of the surrounds, or utilizing our mobile studio with six backgrounds to chose from including a blue screen used to substitute with an original digital image from the Michael J Collection,
